Maybe it's got something to do with price.....

Its very difficult to sell second hand kites especially if they are more than 2 years old,there are heaps for sale,I think a realistic price for a kite thats 2 years old would be one third of the orinigal price or less,I have been trying to sell my kites for the last 2 months with only 1 enquiry

Keep in mind that although its 2013 and you may have only used your kite for 2 seasons, 2014 gear is now on offer. In most peoples minds that would in fact make your kite 3 years old. This is kinda wrong of course but the reality. The kite companies cause this by releasing new season gear 6 months before the calender year. I have 2 brand new never used 2013 kites which accordingly are already considered 12 months old!

It took around 6 months to get a phone call on a particular kite I had advertised.I ended up trading it in a month earlier .Unfortunatly mate your kite will probably sell for 300 quick...2011 thats 3 years old .I would suggest a trade in ...quick and easy.

That poses a philosophical question.... (on the tangent of going to church on sundays....)

I wouldn't think he would be a North man.... but Cabrinha.... maybe... I don't know.... maybe a mix and match of brands and boards?

Perhaps he is a BWS man... seeing as though Australia is gods country.... or so I have been told....

and an even bigger question.... is it possible that the return of the Christ has already occurred and instead of saving the devoted, he realized that the wind was up and went kiting instead?

I think that's what I would be doing... the former sounds like too much hard work....

Most things I put on sell quickly. Though It is seasonal. Some brands are way harder to shift than others. I think I have set a record though. I have had a kite surfboard for sale on here this year, that has had 30,000 views without selling. ( And its cheap) Can't say people aren't looking. I think because it is a riders model if someone searches his name, they get a hit with my ad. Wouldn't think seabreeze buy and sell would have that kind of traffic. You might find things start to move when new kites are released. I've heard a rumour of some new pricing and its ridiculous. Close to $700 for a bar and they list the 'from' price as kite only.....when you click on it it's only a 4m..... And it goes up and up and up until you arrive at something that's useable, but not affordable. I've heard of team riders that are "over" the annual change let alone regular punters.

Really it comes down to money. Those that have alot walk into their local kiteshop and buy something off the shelf. Those that don't want a bargain. Why buy someones used unwanted kites when you could have a brand spanking new one for only a couple hundred more?!? It's not a car of motorcycle. ie: I have a 2007 motorcycle and a 2004 car that I am quite proud of. How many people at your local fly a 2004 or even a 2007 kite or board? If it was a 7m I'd give you $400 bar and lines.

I'm interested in high wind kite but I can't find the right wind range kite I'm looking between a 8 to 9 c4 2011 or 8 cat 2013 as I have 12 cat and 2011 Zephyr

I can take the zephyr from 11 to 20 knots
And the 12 from 15 to 27

Sell you a great 8mtr c4 - perfect suitability for your quiver!!!

As pilotbc69 say's... soon old classic kites like the 2001 model 14m fuel I gave too
my mate to learn to kite with along with 7m 02 fuel, 9m,11m and 15m 03-4 model fuels...
will be just like an old Ford or Holden worth keeping as they are classic's that work.. But you need too
learn kite control and too edge your board too!!!! Most people that have seen these kite's have had a life changing
experience!! Born n Bred in a bubble that disses the good stuff. They ask what model they are, and cant believe some dude could be smoking them
on old kite's that they have never seen before and are told no good!! Ha Ha... what a load of rubbish!

Kiting is same as most sport's, equiptment is only as good as the dude trying too use it!

Everything comprimises something!!!
