Well after a two year self imposed absence from seabreeze and kitesurfing, I am living back on the coast again and keen to get out into the wind once more.

After reading a few of the latest kite mags, I have been put into a spin from all the kite manufactures advertising BS saying their kite is the best in the waves. Coming from the first REV's, I am looking at getting a two kite quiver capable at unhooked wave riding to suit east coast winds.

How do the BWS kites go, the Cabrinha Drifter, weird new Slingshots, etc.

PS: I will not consider anything made by Best, Bandit, Ozone, Naish and so on.

Really even So/On? I thought they make great kites. Like the '14 that turns like an 8 with the power of a 19" and "Kite that has new graphics but is the same or worse than 3 years ago" or the "Beginner kite with super stable, high performance, fast flying, extra quick turning"??? or their new wave kite "Just rests on the water a bit while you ride the wave, doesn't fall out of the water at all."

With a line up like that how could you go wrong?

I wrote an article for a magazine once about this... Still can't work out why they didn't want to run it.

The kite doesn't oversheet..... you do.

Practise trimming it properly.

Those "so on" brands make gay coloured kites. I wouldn't bother.
