Did you end up going?

From the footage I saw on the TV the conditions out there looked insane.
Not even the good insane, the crazy, white wash, swell mashing up everywhere insane.

Yea bro got out Sunday arvo on my 4m took he twiny out for a spin it was really insane but with the 4 it was not bad lots of fun

Did you go to Butterbox then?

Nah not game enough to go to makaha that day even though little makaha is one of my world fav spots I went upto the top of longy and it was breaking into the rock face of longy headland so i started to head out on my twiny the sets at longy were over double head high and real messy and I knew that if I ****ed up or didn't judge a wave correctly I'd be ridding that big butter box in the sky (dead) so just stayed 100m or so off the beach just in the white water until between the sets then headed out abit and stayed playing in the set lulls not do'n anything silly just cruised cause it was super gusty and if all mighty crap happened atleast I could swim back in it was totally nuts mate I've kited some pretty messy big storm stuff but that Sunday was just totally huge n insane my wife begged me not to go but when you get that itch you just gotta scratch it
