Cheers Kemp. Na i dont use fins, i find the edge of the board works well enough to keep me upwind.

I ride the frontier custom Kiteskate. The craftmanship is better than anything i have ever seen, and this is about the 7th shape Andrew Dean has built specifically for kiting . He has them dailed in now after we kept tweaking a few things over the last few years.

how much does it weigh? I got a cabrinha wake skate and it seems stupid heavy, I went back to usino my old Nemo skimboard. Cracks up wind but is a bit like a dog on lino.

You don't want it to be light otherwise it blows away.

haha no need Mywisdom but thanks. Andrew is a pretty keen kiter himself and i think is on this forum. Def worth it for $300! Compare the quality and price with other skates!

Hi guys, Andrew from Frontier Wakeskates here.

Bit of info about the kite kite-specific wakeskates (aka kiteskates).

I have refined the templates and rocker line for the skates over this season, and have established the Frontier Kiteskate deck line-up in 3 sizes, as follows:
- Small is 42.5" (1080mm)
- Medium is 43.5" (1105mm)
- Large is 44.5" (1130mm)

Full timber concave, fibreglass grind base incorporating screenprinted graphic, with full Jessup wakeskate grip.

Cost is $300 (inc GST), plus freight.

As mentioned, they come wakeskate gripped standard (like skateboard grip). Can do them with high density diamond-grooved EVA traction instead, for a little extra dosh.

BTW, they will hold up better than your rail will! (Unless rail is scabbled concrete, asphalt etc!)

Cool mate, I'll defiantly start saving

I just got my Frontier kite skate, with the EVA Grip.

Rode it once only so far, and loved it. Really nice to ride compared to my last skate (Airush), feels like a VW beetle to a new Porsche 911.
