Loving the videos and getting inspired - I have the feeling that the emergency ward at Bunbury Regional hospital could be getting busier as us middle aged men in neoprene(and harnesses) try to push our limits.

Without trying to be too adventurous I'm almost on a first name basis with the hospital staff

Keep the videos coming!

Love the vids! Keep them coming.

It's good to see "older" crew charging and pushing the envelope. Should inspire us all to keep progressing.

Went out yesterday but the wind was barely strong enough to keep me up on the water let alone stay upwind but instead of packing up I decided to try the running jumping method to put my board on.

Now I'm dead as I was trying it from a top of a building. (edit: seems 'strike-through' does not work)

Practiced for over an hour just running in to the water from the beach. Got the method down pat but never managed to get my feet in the straps and ride away. Got sort of close on a few occasions but then started to get fatigued.

Will give me something to work on. Don't think I've seen any locals do it.

Sorry DylanJamo you feel that way.
Just so you know, I am not encouraging any one to do stunts I do. Especially jumping off a cliff. But that's one ways I take off. Now it is all up to you if you want to do it or not. Just respect nature and your ability.

It is a great video actually.
Question: I am trying to simply launch off wet sand, but I end up going, yet board stuck on sand. Any tips?

Try to avoid taking off in wet sand or wet places because the board gets glued to the ground and won't release. If you have no other option then try to put some filler on the ground such as dry see weed, or wood, or dry sand or a towel.

Hey Dylan - to launch off wet sand try making a small mound of sand and place your board central on it before take off. That way it won't stick.

I thought just force lift one end of the board should get it "un-stuck"?
