Hi,
Was out riding in Sandgate last weekend where there were some debris in the water (First session for the season so was keen to ride!). Mainly logs and branches I though, after the session I however discovered a couple of deep scratches in the board?
What's best to do, just leave it or fix it, if so how?

Go to your local yachtie shop and get some Epifill and then cut some flexi plastic for a scraper from an icecream conatiner or similar (metal might make more scratches)
Make sure all scratches are clean and dry and then mix up the Epifill and use the scraper to fill the scratches and scrape away the excess. Sand lightly is needed the next day being carefull not to scratch the board again.
Won't be the same colour as your board (unless the board is cream!) and will take overnight to dry, but will be waterproof and strong.

Thanks mate, I'll give that a try, wasn't sure what to use.
Any risk of going for a session or two before fixing it if I let it dry out afterwards? Weekend looks good, so keen to get out.

Depends on how deep the scratches are and what the boards core is made of.
If they are through to a timber core then I wouldn't as the timber will soak up alot of water. If it's foam or they aren't all the way through then yeah, should be fine.
When you do get around to fixing, grab a heat gun (in short bursts so not to burn the board) or the missus' hair dryer to dry the scratches out.
