Lost my second Gopro yesterday......funny enough it was easier the second time around- nowhere near as upset.....so how much have u lost ?

3xSunnies, 1xboard (found).

Found numerous items. Funny tho, not all ppl are keen to exchange for a 6 pack:)

I lost my will to live

dropped my bar on a beach 300km away.... got it back.
left my bar at my local beach.... got it back.,,,,,
left my surfboard on the beach. went back the next day... still there got it back.

sunnies smashed off my face in the surf. amaisingly someone found them and gave them back.

drive down the road with 2 kites and a harness dangling on my bike rack.... lost them.... you guessed it. I got them back!!!...

sometimes the world is a good place...

lost a couple of sunnys . went to beach cleaner machine guy and got 1 back no marks even on them after going through the machine sweeeeeet as

Left surfboard I made as a project at the beach in Lennox... Gone. Put up posters, not one word. It wasn't even a good board haha.

Left kiteboard at the beach in Lennox... Gone.

Left Control Bar at the beach in Ballina... Got covered by sand, went back and dug it up.

I think I left another kiteboard at the beach one time in lennox as well... Gone.

Had about 5 bikes stolen over the years though. 4 of them being from my house... Never got one back.

Still waiting for someone to steal my car so I can get insurance... Never happens.

1 hour of daylight, every evening for the whole summer.

I can't put a price on that.

And it can only be found again if we never let the topic disappear.

Left kite at river with Kents name and number on it. Returned to kent then me!
Left bar and lines at beach. Returned.
No boards as yet (fingers crossed).
No ex misses/wifes thus far so looking pretty good!

haha....hats- I've lost a few of those, headbands as well....lost a twin tip when I first started....years ago I had a bad habit of leaving phones on the car roof while I packed up and lost 4 in a couple months...

I've heard of many people losing Gopro cameras. I am sorry for your loss. Next time try to tie it with kite lines you are not using. I am sure everyone has plenty from old kites.

The only place I am not using a back up is only for the chest mount.

As for other items, except 2 boards, kite lines, 2 hats, 3 sunnies, 2 head bands and 1 harness, haven't lost much :))

hat straps look gay! wow I better stop wearing one, because I care so much what you think, also skin cancer dosen't bother me, and kiting looking into the sun is awesome

Does it count as lost if you don't realize you left your wetsuit, harness, bar (all separate occasions) and not realized until you go back to the beach to find them already there.
We had one bloke who lost his hat down the coast while kiting with a mate then a week later the mate found the hat while they were kiting 70km further up the coast

Nothing wrong with wearing a hat. I finally found one that stays put without actually having a strap (provided you don't wipeout, or kite in a gale). I can post a picture if you want.
