The swell had yet to pick up when I saw you, the more hollow waves are further upwind on the reef, also much bigger where I sailed from that day, no crowds out there


when we do get a decent swell & its channel busting the north end of hells is a very scary place to be even for seasoned slayers, typically end of the season between fronts is the pick of the bunch,
Gero is great but wish the wind would calm down a bit, well over this 30-35knots, bring on mid 20's and thumping sets
