Off to Honiara in May for work
God I love my job!
Does anyone have any experience of this place? Is it worth bringing my gear?

Honiaria faces the wrong way to get the SE trades itself. So unless you have some flexibility to get to a SE facing location then it would probably not be worth it.

I reckon a short plan flight to some smaller island should see some epic spots.
