I ride a Cabrinha Tronic, which i really like, but I know it is power hungry due to its generous rocker, rounded tips, and big fins.

Now, I could go and buy something flatter and more square which will get me going better. But I'm struggling to understand the pros and cons of each style of board.

ie, what is the advantage of the rocker and rounded tips on a board like the tronic?
what are the disadvantages of the flatter square boards?
