I went kiting with the Heated Wetsuits Crew yesterday in a new slick we had found. With 20-30mph steady winds, a few bad kiteloops were almost inevitable. I'm certainly feeling this crash; stoked that we caught it on video!

Tuck and roll. Nearly got there, never a nice feeling when one foot comes out either.

Hey and that was a Cabrina as well,
I am surprised it didn't end up in a tree or powerlines to finish it off properly!

speed - check,

height - yep, not too high not too low...

1st rotation - hmmm, so far so good...

That takes me back to the 'learning back rolls days'. The rib cage has never been the same since......

T-One, Ha Ha ha, perfect analysis!! Felt like I was upside down, in the air for at leats 10 seconds.....how time stands still when something bad is about to hit. That is so great! I'm so stoked to not be injured after this one.

I've been working on backroll kiteloops for a month now. It seems I have to learn them each time I switch between the 11m and my 7m Cabrinha. The two sizes fly completely different! Each time the wind changes and I switch between kites, it's a completely different beast! Sooner or later, I guess, I'll figure it out.

Got a slight shiner right now from my bar smacking me in the left eye on impact. I'm guessing that's what it's from; who knows! Thanks for the comments. After rewatching, I think I'll have to continue trying a double backroll kiteloop.

I have a feeling there will be more vidoes like this to follow! Stay Warm!

I found backrolls not too tough to learn.

It was the front rolls that kept mangling me for ages...

Love it! I ruptured my eardrum landing on my head from a bad one of these, good to see someone else stacking it on video!
