Hey Everyone,

I just got a Go Pro Hero 2 with a surf mount and the other flat mounts. Will the surf mount work for my twin tip? Or should I use a normal flat mount on my twin tip (most used board) and use the surf mount for my surfboard (rarely used)? Or just use a surf mount on both?

Thanks in advance...

"thats alright "
"thats alright "

my best advice would be mount it to your
surfboard and use it more

it will work ok on your TT. Just keep it as much closer to pad as possible to have less vibrations

or if you as paranoid as I am, buy the kitehero fin mount, so it's screwed down.

My 2c:

1 - use a flat mount for your twintip + **important** get yourself a board leash attachment and screw it on the fin screw (just the ring bit) for a leash system on the camera, as safety - use a camera wrist strap, it's good enough. I have broken 4 flatmounts and would have lost my GoPro several times if I didn't have a leash on it. When you jump you can't help but land a little hard sometimes and the mounts break - it's a fact. So, secure it.

The surf mount is better on the surfboard. As it was advised before - use it more :)

Enjoy

For twin tip, Kitehero fin mount :o)

No adhesives involved, and a rather robust chunky cam mount.
