We are having a last minute decision on going up North to Geraldton for a few days. I know the camping grounds will be full, but you never know... - looking for TENT spot.

Anyone have preferences about where to go? I was going to phone through the list... found the following ones:

Batavia Coast Caravan Park - in town, not on beach
Belair Gardens Caravan Park - on beach, looks smaller
Sunset Beach Holiday Park - appears to be north of Gero
Greenough River Mouth Caravan Park - south of the town...

or any other thoughts... thanks ... Just going to pitch a few tents and loose a few kilo's in the heat... and hopefully kite!

Bel Air is right out at the point, walking distance to kiting and not too far from town. It shouldn't be too busy to get a tent spot.

Sunset is on the beach too, some waves out the front if you get a decent swell but a bit further from town.

Enjoy.

Pt Moore is crowded...yes crowded.
12 kites up most days
Coronation is looking good for the next few days/weeks but is true camping. You will need to take your own water and everything else. But is the pick I think. Especially with 2.5m swell forecast. You can get some waves there or go 400m down the beach to South Coro's if you want great waves all to yourself.
