Outflow valve on a north rebel has separated from the bladder. I have the bladder out of the leading edge and the valve seems fine. can anyone suggest a GLUE to use and get the two things back together ...... i realise there are replacement valves that have the glue on them, but i would like to try and salvage the existing parts.

Hi Deaon,

Vinyl pool glue works pretty good. I've done several repairs like what you mention and it works great. Available at bunnings in the pool section.

Cheers,

lol, how is this important? all inflating kites have valves and bladders which could come off if left in the car. My moron best friend did the same thing, we have to fix it tomorrow morning...if we can't......more dog kiting.....

thanks for the tip kitehard, will get some of that glue

HaHa,

Most entertaining short Video in ages. You gotta hook that dog up to a tread wheel and power a generator for the house.

Awesome! I thought Richie Rich's dog was impressive. Lol

How's the power of the dog wind when going uphill? Is it sort of like tropical wind (has potential but no real grunt)?

Great!

Henkel-Pattex transparent contact adhesive,is really the best glue to use for bladders and valves, its flexible and super strong.

It's actually less impact on the dog than when you walk him normally - he pulls just as hard but the skateboard rolls along smoothly instead of jolting him to a stop.

We have to force him to rest because he loves it so much and won't stop, but we're scared of him having a heart attack, so we stop and find him a few nice trees to p!ss on every 400m or so.

Deano, I could have rung you mate! I thought that it would be better to share this on the forum, but this stuff looks really good. Does anybody know where you can buy it in Aussie or even Adelaide?
