Well I guess if you don't like your flysurfer that's one way of disposing of an unwanted kite - but apart from that I don't quite get the point.

Looks like the parachute works heaps better than the flysurfer.

dumb dumb dumb.Normally i'd say this kind of things pretty nifty (like the salomon squirrell suit stunt with the guy screaming down the side of the mountain) but this is a publicity stunt that could have gone horibly wrong

So why do I say dumb? you will notice a flashing thing just to the side of him later in the vid .A bit of paper perhaps? no its the board (you will notice its no longer on his feet ) luckily it didn't hit him or someone on the ground when it landed

They dont have water in th Swiss Alps - this is the best they can come up with. Just goes to show what people will do for a sesh.

Such a cool stunt. The only way that it could possibly have been any more spectacular is if he had coloured smoke coming from his ankles, and was wearing a sparkly, sequined stuntman leotard/jumpsuit...

what an odd comment .Any kitesurf kite in a lift band is basically a paraglider ( just a small one)

What would have been really impressive is if the guy actually made it all the way down with his board on his feet, landed on water and kept on going. But this stuff is lame and stupid, where does his board and kite land?

That video is several years old.

Here's a newer one where the guy actually lands in the water.

Still no wind but given that it's ****ing dangerous then they have to start somewhere.

Landing is a bit of an overstatement - fixed it for you... :-)

Whats wrong with you guys?? all hate? i reckon this is kinda cool, shows that a flysurfer is built well enough to perform as a paraglider. This is way cooler than a certain "kiteloop KGB" crap that you all seemed so fond of.

I agree with you there. The only thing I was trying to get across was that the first vid was just plain stupid and irresponsible with the kite and the board flying off like that, imagine if it landed on someone! If you want to do crazy **** I am all for it, risk your life but not the life of other people!!!!!! The second vid was sick, imagine if there was a bit of wind and the guy kept on going, would love to try and "drop in" like that at my local lol
