Ah, youtube and copyright, the bane of my existence!!!

I have a second youtube account that I use purely for uploading songs to. Every so often, I'll up load 10-20 songs then wait and see which ones get blocked before editing a vid to them. Usually about 95% of them get blocked :( I was stoked that this passed thru (it is blocked in Germany). And the other issue is that their rules are constantly changing, so some of my old vids (non-kite) that once worked are now blocked :(

So, unfortunately there is no way around their rules, just trial and error with different songs.

Triple J unearthed is a good source for music if you are patient enough to trawl thru all the crap. But I've still come unstuck there, I used a Flume song from way before he was a big deal, the vid worked for a year or two, but now he's famous its blocked.

From my experience Vimeo won't block your music.

As long as you give the songs credit it wont always block your vid. They were blocking all mine untill i found that out. Write the song and artist in the comment of the upload and put it in the vid somewhere

Nice vid, looks like a good spot!
Try pulling more depower on your kite so you are riding with the bar in closer to you, and try keeping your kite lower - this will stop you hunching over and add way more style to your riding

Yeah to tell the truth, the only times I ever depower is launch/land and if things get a bit crazy out on the water. I'll give a go next time I'm out. Cheers
