I'll be going, but I'll likely only be watching. Buggered my shoulder and have to get an ultrasound Monday to see if it needs to be fixed Either way, it needs rest for a while.

Hey Mr Bonk, that sucks about your shoulder. Bad timing.

Any guys thinking about coming up and not competing should enter regardless because there's going to be aome great divisions including races, kicker sessions and so on and there will be tonnes of prizes easily outdoing your $50 entry fee. Boards from Nobile, Liquid Force, clothing and accessories from Slingshot and Best, subscriptions to Kiteboarder Magazine and even seabreeze.com.au sms packs and plenty more!!

It looks like the wind is going kick in. There is a camp ground 250m from the event.

Elliott Heads is named the "Coral Coast's best kept secret"

Freestyle Nationals will take place at Elliott Heads (Bundaberg) 7-11th of March
This years Freestyle Nationals are heading up to Elliot Heads in Bundaberg (about 3.5 hours North of Brisbane). The location is a rivermouth setup with a runout tide and some of the most consistent winds on the East Coast. Go to; www.aksa.com.au/

Should be all time. There should be some space around for guys to free-ride. Please just be a bit courtious and try to stay out of the way of the event as it runs.
The caravan park should have some camp spaces but it definitely doesnt have anything in the way of cabins. If you need this sort of accomodation your best bet will be Kellys Beach Resort www.kellysbeachresort.com.au/. They've also been good enough to do a 25% discount for anyone who mentions the Nationals event so there will be a great scene with plenty of kiters staying at the same place.

Just a heads-up about those tides. A 3.2M tide means nowhere to rig up (and I mean *nowhere*), unless you stand on top of the dunes and set-up/launch. However, it also means the huge lagoon behind the dunes fills up with flat, shallow water

Red Bull is over, Rockstar will be on site if you dare. lol. You'll see!

Also bring your helmets if you might be keen on some kicker action. we'll have a bit of abest trick for cash event (not too much casy but the kickers should be pretty fun regardless, haha). Kickers on both tacks for the first time i've seen!

Friday night party is the 80's party in town. Start op shopping now for your outfit. I just wish my hair was a bit longer at the moment so i could cut a decent mullet.
