Ah well. Maybe try volunteer firefighter then, will keep you well occupied during easterlies.

Having another sport that's not reliant on the weather is good... or one that enjoys eat my crack easterlies.
Then you are covered.

Me I jump on my mountain bike and ride.

Well.... to be fair mountain biking is my primary sport..... when conditions are crap for biking but good for kiting I go kiting.

You have some great trails around your neck of the woods.
One of my favorite MTB rides ever was the trails around Rotorua

We have had a run of low wind easterlies over here too, so I've resorted to dragging this down the beach and have done a heap of runs the full length of 7 mile using my 10m Reo V5

You're right there Phoney. Between good wind and work I haven't done much more than blat around town on the bike.
I'll review when I've used it more. If you're interested in more info on the bike just look up SurRon electric bike on google and YouTube.
Until I get out in the dirt with it you can watch this:

Yep, I've been known to through down some worthy buggy rides in easterlies too...

Oh yeah.

its good to have some diversity.
