Has anyone ridden the volt?
I have been riding the duotone pro fish for years as my small wave board and was thinking of an upgrade.
If anyone can shed some light on how the volt performs other than the sales pitch from duotone that would be great . cheers

I've been riding the 2025 volt d-lab for a month or two. I'm loving it in the small waves when well powered. I got a small one because they're pretty wide and I prefer smaller boards. Riding it with large fin on the sides and a small future in the middle makes it nice and skatey but still has good hold on the wave face. Very lively with nice spring in the flex. Very minimal heel dents so far. For me it's not a light wind board, and probably maxes out on head high waves if it's hollow.

Thanks for the reply . By the sounds of it , it probably rides the same as my fish . I've had to set the back fins the same to loosen it up . The fish sits at 29 litres so I can ride it in anything from 17-30 knots and also maxes out around the head high mark .
it's looking like the $1800 price tag might not be worth the benefits.

No, it doesn't ride like your fish.As Nutdip mentioned it is quite a wide board though and you should limit it to smaller stuff. The new D/Lab construction is the standout for me. Probably the lightest, most natural feeling constructed board I have ever ridden.

Looked same same to me . I didn't want another wide board so ended up with the f one Mitu pro flex. The thing is an absolute weapon and the closest feel to a surfboard I have ridden
