Hi all I'm an intermediate rider who is looking for an upgrade. I currently ride a north rebel 11m it's an older kite but I'm deciding between the 2023 duotone dice sls 9m or the core XR7 9m. My style is mostly freestyle and starting to get into kite looping with a good pop, Any recommendations about the pros and the cons on either of the two would be much appreciated. Cheers ????

Core demo and u won't go back !!!

I think that the Dice and the XR7 are very different kite
The Core Nexus is far more similar kite to the dice
The Duotone Rebel or maybe the Evo would be more similar XR7

Define Freestyle ?

Rebel and XR aren't freestyle kites.

Yeah I can understand they have different dynamics between the two. Freestyle as in I've been getting my big air jumps down pat but I am after a kite that's a good all rounder but aggressive at the same time for when I start getting my loops down pat.

Just buy the New Rebel that's a lot faster turning this year.

Duotone has way better colours. Last I checked Core jumps higher, but haven't tested any new ones for 3 years.

Agreed! Edge v11 all the way for me anyway.

You guys have bigger balls than me looping a 9m Edge! I know its not a terrible kite to loop but its way more likely to stall than something like a Dice/Nexus/Enduro
