Purchased new 3 weeks ago, creased after a dozen sessions... I'm 70kg riding strapless, not too impressed...

I'm not into Duotone at all but there's so many variables that could cause a crease.

I'd be frustrated too. But these things can happen on the 2nd year or the first day. On the 2nd year or doesn't hurt as much.

A bit more info what happened would help, like was it a heavy landing? It looks like it has hit something like a bar is the crease on the other side of the concave also?

I would be taking it back to the shop being that new. I have SLS fish 6 mths no issues whatsoever, Ok my jumps never more than 1m, I'm 95kg they are pretty strong, only minor dents where hit bar end and once where I fell on some rocks while carrying the board. The innegra/skin seems to have some give.

Finished a session and saw it there. It hasn't
impacted anything. If it was after a year i could put it down to usage, but after 10-12 kites? I have had cash-converter grom boards last longer than that!

I jump high, and a lot, but this was the whole reason i got the SLS for an extra $400 rather than the standard whip.otherwise what is the point of the SLS??

Same thing has happened with me. 2022 Brand new board, second session, same crease. I recall a reasonably heavy landing but nothing unusual. On a trip so I had to MacGyver with solares because the crease part was spongy. Held up the rest of the trip though, and such a phenomenal board. but I might try talking with the retailer tomorrow about any recourse.

Worth a chat to the retailer, being so new. Also relate to any signs of heavy landings on deck

Saw the duotone riders break one board like that a day in Brazil !
The true is the board is amazing super light but breaks easy

Twintip jumping yes, wave riding, no thanks!!

sorry Andre missed your message, its fixed and ready for me to destroy on next week's green arrows.
i have run into a few more people who have had issues with the standard wam as well. I think all
these boards could handle a few hundred grams more weight for a bit more durability.

'nuff said in case duotone use the same lawyers as crazyfly

I have experimented with Innegra Not keen on it for strength But can be good if used correctly with other layups of materials / stringer/ Blank type etc
