Anyone try and get out of catch ups and the likes just because the wind is blowing?

Sometimes I'm just a ** bloke! However I am trying to reform. It's all about balance I tell myself

I will try to get out of EVERYTHING when the wind is blowing and will be uncontactable for hours until either the the wind dies or it gets dark. Then find dozens of my messages on my phone asking why I wasn't back from my lunch break yet.

I will not be able to do any uni work if I know the wind is blowing. I have to go. So, during the semester I do not check seabreeze otherwise I get myself in real trouble!

Doesn't everybody resort to losing all mates in Summer, then in winter it's "hey guys wanna go for a beer?"

Never mind mates, I schedule work appointments based on the forecast.

My good friends may not quite understand but they definitely are accepting. They see how happy and easy to get along with I am after a good session so they forgive the odd late arrival or no-show.

Yeah i arrange all my appointments around the surf reports....i always feel a bit sorry for my last patients as they tend to be in and out in 2mins flat on the windy days...

then they see me running out the door with a manic grin on my face!!

Never get a tradie to do work on your house on a day when its windy,

you will get a half assed rushed job cause his mind wont be on the job,,,,,,,trust me

I just hope that if I need major surgery one day that my surgeon isnt a kiter and 25knots is forcasted,,,,

otherwise my shoulder reconstruction could turn out to be a new set of boobs
And not nice purkie ones but old granny saggers

Having mates who rig slower than you is always a good thing, that way you have someone to launch you

Easy fix.. I ditched all my non-kiting mates years ago. Who needs em
These days if they're a mate they kite.

If anyone tells you it is selfish then you need to explain to them that is is selfish on their behalf to expect you to forego your exercise regime.
