If anyone kites Ocean Beach, Denmark regularly, any idea of what the wind is likely to be this Friday to Monday. I can't seem to find any reliable predictions.

I've been down there with the family visiting a mate for a week in January this year and last year. I've had my kite gear with me both times as we stay at Prevelly prior to Denmark.

Neither year did I see any wind or waves that looked appealing to go kite.

i wasn't there to kite, more family time, so I wasn't searching but generally didn't see anyone kite or conditions I wanted to head out in.

i would be interested in any tips for next years trip.

I've kited Denmark Ocean Beach years ago in a solid swell and had a blast - works pretty good on a SE to SW wind. Unfortunately, based on the Albany forecast, which is the best local forecast I can find, doesn't look too promising this weekend, except around midday Friday in the SW, could be on. You'd need to trek east past the river mouth and launch there. The SW wind will be too sheltered in the corner near the surfclub. Should be some good swell though, so if you find some wind, get amongst it.
