Hi Peeps,

Just a heads up that the time of the ASWA demo day at Pinnaroo Point has been changed from Midday to 2pm. Please see this link for full details.

Hi again Peeps,

With the wind remaining offshore at 12pm, I have made the decision to cancel the afternoons demo day. We do expect the winds to come in but will on;ly be light and likely gusty so, reluctantly, I say "Cancel it" .

If anyone wants to try a particular kite or board, drop into the shop tomorrow and take it for a demo. If it does crank in late, we may still come down, but not for less than 15 knots.

Have a great day everyone.

I don't weigh much, and I really want a new kite.
so not trolling no, I had planned my day around this demo

Hi Joe,

Sorry mate, the wind didn't come in until after 4pm With regard to the XR4, a lot of the answer to your question is dependent upon your weight, the board you ride and the skills you possess.

The XR4 is an excellent kite and has me powered in 25 knots on a 135 twin tip easily and I weigh 95kg, so I'm guessing it would go close ....

Drop into the shop and pick it up for a demo, it looks to be windy all week.
