Does anyone often listen to Def Lepord and think I wonder what would have happene if kitesurfing was around when hysteria was released??? Imagine how far we would have come by now!

Seriously I remember as a kid watching a windsurfing video on VHS (that's a video tape for you young blokes) and they had Van Halen's 'Panama' as the sound track and look how far they've come now!

We'd probably be flying like really nice coloured kites by now, or using kite pumps that last more than a few months, or we'd have harnesses that felt comfortable, or we would hover over the sand on our hover kite boards.

I think back to the future has a lot to answer for because of the hover board thing as well as all those Easter eggs throughout the movies.

And I don't think The movie Cocoon should get off Scott free either. And while I'm on the subject "she bought a jeep"! - seriously??? Is she really that silly?

hmmm... sincere apologies dan for i have confused you for someone else.. my boss would never talk to me like that.. also im not stupid enough to be on seebreeze during work hours while my boss is online.... i was never here...
ps. my boss just sent me a text saying there are white caps... theres no way my boss could be texting me and be on seebreeze at same time.. thats multitasking

Surely there's other people out there with employees that kiteboard as well and as a result they spend most of their work day looking at the wind forecasts and when the wind hits 20knts there's a reason or 2 that work can no longer continue.

In this case it seems I'm the bad influence and saying there's plenty of days with no wind for working.....

Unfortunately in Melbourne there ain't that many days without wind so I guess we are full time unpaid kite boarders and part time (very very part time) workers!

Oh well, what's life for if not to enjoy!

That balance your talking about is the one where you balance just enough income to survive on baked beans while cramming as much kiteboarding in as possible.
