The deck grip on my new board has moved and scrunched up under the ball of my back foot.
Has anybody had this happen to them?
How can I stop it from happening?

Well if its a new board I guess you got warranty. If you have to fix it yourself, its best to pull the offending pad off completly, wash off the goo with universal thinners which you can buy from super cheap auto,
When its clean stick back on with contact cement glue from Bunnings or other hard ware store will have the stuff, have fun its a messy job

What SQube said - Try hair drier to (gently!!) heat around edge to start lifting. If U R not familiar with contact adhesive suggest using aerosol as gets a thin even layer - (both surfaces) then leave till touch dry (10 or so minutes) line up and leave weighted down for 12 hours Need to mask up with aerosol, but that does not take long. Assume that is a surfboard pad - a bit flimsy... (Way less effort buying new pads and clean - wet/dry board surface.)

Cheers

Sounds like dodgy adhesive in the first place. Take it back to the shop and get some new pads under warranty. Likely to rip if you DIY remove...although if its sliding, it may peel off easy. The only time I've heard of similar on surfboard was when incorrect solvent was used to clean board when first applying grip. (Turps instead of acetone)
