Any retailers in Oz have stock of the Dakine Option spreader bar yet ?
These have been available OS for a while now.

I spoke to the owner of a local dakine dealer about this as I was buying a C-1 harness from him yesterday. He said it was unlikely they will be stocked in Australia because there was insufficient demand to import enough units . Seems hard to believe but that's what he told me.

Based on that, your only option to get one anytime soon might be via overseas. A mate of mine recently ordered one from swiminn.com and likes it, although they only had the 8" spreader bar available:

Hey mate i have a 12" one thats too big for me. Its only been used a few times. Works well just to big for 32" waist/ med harness

$100 plus shipping would sort it out if you're interested.

I would of grabbed it but I'm 32" as well.

The few places I've tried OS are sold out now.

Yeah tjey seem to be a bit hard to come by. Make sure its compatible with your harness and check the size of the bar youre replacing.. i reckon the 8" is prob best, the 12 was way to big.

I recently bought 2x 10" Option bars with spare slider rope from the US for about $140 each including shipping if you split the purchase with a mate and go halves on the shipping. - looks like they are on special at the moment (US$59 from UD$76)

They are awesome and 10" would suit most people, love the fact that you can simply hook in and no need to modify or mess around modifying your CL. The site ships via FedEx so arrived within a week. 100% satisfied!

Thought it would be an adjustment to a fixed hook and no change really and makes toeside so much easier for SB riding.
