as a suggestion only due to thte amount of kite tangle currently occurring and likely to increase with the amount of kiters going down to cott currently , can i suggest that if you are there you make a bit of a run out to the yellow Bouy 90% of the time most crew do but some do like to hang in the wave section all the time which makes for ongoing congestion and difficult if you want to boost off a few waves on the way out. only a suggestion

You think Cott. is busy with kooks now, just wait and see what happens if there are any bans at popular Metro beginner spots.

Yea, Cott. needs a line-up for waves just like Woodies for flat........so you have to wait 20 min. for your turn, and then some one who just doesn't know any better crashes in front of you, or better yet steals your wave.

Metro kiting..........some people love it

The most people Ive seen at my local is 8 people, 2 years ago, and we complained about the crowd,
dont know how you city folk can enjoy a session with 50 other kites to dodge.
must be hectic

Nothing hectic up in Perth mate, just a bunch of people who like to stick together.

Have you ever surfed a little break on a huge beach with a couple of your mates?

Same story, i guarantee some group will rock up and paddle right out to your spot even if there is 5 km of uncrowded similar beach break around you!

It is human nature

I set up and launch at the dog beach about 200 metres south of the main kiting spot in Scarborough (brighton) and always have a session on my own

Maybe i should have kept it quiet but i could do with a couple of buddies out there

Crowd is not an issue, people choose to go where it is crowded.
