Just a reminder to anyone who wants to attend we're holding a slider jam at woodman point from the 22nd-26th. Heres some pictures of what we been building.

Theres a rooftop slider- 24 m long approximately 3m high, 1m drop off, 50cm wide
An up flat down flat- approximately 20m long 1.8m high
A gap to c-rail
and of course a nice big kicker

The rooftop- 24 m long approximately 3m high, 1m drop off

The sliders and kicker will all have HDPE on top for a smooth ride (white sheet)

The start of the up flat down flat

Still got a bit to do to finish it, looking sick. There's likely to be channel 7 coverage, and later on there likely will be a dvd. All entrants will get a t-shirt as part of paying the entry fee. There will be pro wakeboarders sessioning it on jet ski's in the mornings. Photo sessions, casual competition, redbull tent, zooper doopers etc... too much to put down all at once but it's going to be an insane event.

your neighbours must be stoked with your giant sized obstacles sticking out of your yard!

Stupid question- but have you got a plan to get a 24m slider out of your garden? can just see you putting the last nail in , looking at it proudly, then thinking- Ahh S**t! how we going to get this thing down to the beach?

Love your work!

What days is everything gonna be on? Every day the same thing? What time are you planning to "start" in the morning every day?

"Program will go as follows
# Thurday and Friday warm up and clinic days

# Saturday - Monday wake board event in the mornings on the park followed by the slider kite clinic and freeride open on the more advanced obstacles
The slider event in the afternoon over sat to monday.
Each day will have free ride sessions and the top riders will be invited to shoot on the sunset sessions also.

The kite slider event will run single elims in a 4 man heat system with the top two advancing. Each rider has two passes through the park and it will be judged by a panel of pro wake boarders.

Then will follow the Double elimination which will be man on man knock out to give everyone a second chance."

holly **.. That stuff looks huge.. I can say that I would hit it though 'cause I'm on the east coast and don't know ya's. Are the massive ramps what you're calling kickers, or are you going to have one/ some with kick as well? Looks like a massive project. You guys are gunna have a ball.

HeyGuys,

Awesome stuff! Any piccies of the "C" rail and kicker?

I'd love to see this stuff in action. I'm also wondering if you're going to have to get a heavy lif chopper to get it down to woodies.

Good stuff, go hard!

i doubt they would be kickers..... u need to have a lot more speed wen u hit a kicker over a slider.

Unbelievable effort Toby and crew...super cool.

Might need to dust off the twinny and upgrade the private health insurance.

Hey Smedg,

These are the pictures of the Roof top rail aka The Cabrinha (Up - Down)

Also in the picture is part of the Slingshot Rail which is a Up-Flat-Down-Flat rail. This one is almost complete.

Not pictured is the Airush Kicker from last year and the C rail that has been remade into something a little bit more snowboard like compare to last years.

We have help from the West Oz Wakeboarding (top blokes!!)www.westozwakeboarding.com with transport and logistics for getting the obstacles into and out of Woodmans Point.

More Updates tomorrow.

Cheers,
Marc
