Just a heads up. Had to fire mine yesterday and it took me a lot longer than I had anticipated to stop a bad situation. It took quite a few seconds to realise I needed to fire it, then I another few to find the button and trigger it. Not so easy when being dragged under water. The circumstance was a crash in the surf lost focus on the kite and it got caught up in a wave.

Anyway this was only 15knts, small surf and it was a good little wakeup call for me. Hopefully others may think about their safety before going out next and be better prepared for a similar situation. If there was a large surf the outcome could have been very different.
