I haven't been to Carvantes before and I am up around that area this weekend.

The forecast for this weekend is South to south East, from the map it look possible to kite. Can anyone give me a bit of advice on the area.

Thanks

SE is OK on the south side of the point but don't worry about the fact the graphs show SE or SSE - It will be a proper southerly seabreeze

If up that way the point at Jurien will be better anyway

Yep Mark is onto it, Cervantes is usually best straight out the front of Thirsty Point but if it is SE just go around the corner to the South.

Lol !, thanks for the the thought Al . Had an early night pal. TL & Mark got it. In a South Easter, take a left at the back packers, you'll find a track down on to the beach in Hansen Bay (south side of Thirsty Point), love it there in a S/E , yet to kite Jurien though. The guy who owns the surf shop there told me the best spot was down Leisuire then along Shingle st. Been a big fan of Cervantes ever since Herve (Pinnaroo's french connection ) started promoting it, cheers, J

Last time I went there some guy levered my fuel tank open and exploded my car. Insurance covered it but I was out of pocket $2000
