Have been on the cable a few times..
Somehow I end up having 80% of the weight on my back foot and get tired a lot easier than when kiting.
I regulary kite 3 hrs in a row, but after just one lap on the cable my back leg starts burning and I have to take a break.
Any suggestions?

KnutH, I had the same problem when i first started on cable. Spread more weight over your front foot. I have noticed that my kite boarding stance has also improved, after about 2 dozen times at cable.
Hope this helps

hahah nice work mate, love Cables for windless days. How is the 2010 Customs base holding up? iv got a slingy Reflex and its so far been great durability wise.

his board is pretty rooted, got a few chips out of the bottom, he wouldnt give me ago of it but it looks asthough it would be a premium cable board

I have been thinking the same thing, surely with the number of Kiters in Perth now it would be a viable business.........come end of the season there are going to be alot of people with all this need for board..............

I wonder if the old rope rails are still around from cables park............Hint.........Hint..........................

but really its not...
its too flat..
kite boards = not good cable boards.

reflex dominates for cable/ any slingy wake board does.

Pretty sick fun there Keahi, hey how does the custom 2010 ride behind the cable finless?

Yeah I agree with charl dv that most kiteboards suck behind the cable.
used a custom 138 07 and it rode too fast and fins made it too grippy.. without the fins it was like a macdonalds tray..

Would be interesting to try the reflex behind the kite..
