Spending March based in Brunswick Heads to get away from the cold UK weather - can anyone suggest some good kitespots/contacts nearby?

Cheers

Hey dude

Surf or twinnie? The beaches are good downwinders, not a lot of flat water. Have a squiz at the pass/Clarkes beach at Byron or Currumbin on north easterlies. Rowdy or GCDave are your men down that way.

for surf - either leeward side of the breakwater at bruns itself is good, the wall blocks the chop but the swell still breaks nicely and the wind stays clean. black rocks (15 minutes' north, ask around) is great on a northerly. downwinders from pottsville to bruns and vice versa are a great run too.

Thanks for info stamp, had a look on Google maps and it all looks good, month may not be enough time to try all the spots.

Thanks for the info Phoney, the list of places to try is getting longer and longer which is good.
