Just a quick question, When i ride my boots for anything more than 2 hour sessions they start to rub the skin annoyingly around the top of the boot, do the guys that wear boots often have the same problem and what do you do to combat it other than HTFU? socks perhaps?

I had that problem the very first time i started riding boots, and socks worked quite well. I stopped using them after a few weeks and never had an issue again!

Yeah I've had boot chafe before too it's pretty uncomfortable. I've heard of guys using vaso before.. but otherwise you can wear neoprene socks if you want to be soft or the skin will just heal and kind of scar and you'll be fine haha battle wounds to go along with you boot tan!

Hi Greggor,
I would recommend you to wear some good quality riding boots. I recently purchased a good quality riding boot from www.hypedc.com/nike . Personally, I like to ride in a square toe or a round toe. The first concern with riding boots is safety. You can wear boot leggings to prevent the boots from rubbing against your skin. I use mint oil for leather boots.
