I'm planning to go kiting @ Exmouth later this year for a week or two.
It would be great to get away from the winter weather but I'm not sure when the wind kicks in up there.
When would the wind be best for a 82kg guy with 9m & 11m kites

Will have a couple of these in tow aswell

Hey moons, you may also need a smaller kite (7m) to cover all bases, as the wind can get pretty full on from late Sept up until late Nov.
If you don't have to come during school hols def plan to come for a family holiday when our Exmouth Expo is happening. We will have all the latest 2011 Demo kites & Boards from a variety of major brands, showcasing at Sandy Bay. Clinics and lessons will also be held.
Dates and timetable are yet TBA.
The event will be in October, but it will not be during the first 2 weeks.
- Just wondering if you received my return email from early April through our web site?

Yes Champoo, thanks for that.
If I can't get hold of a 7m would I be better off coming up late August/early Sept?
But your Exmouth Expo sounds pretty good. Either way I can't wait to get up there

Don't worry too much about your kite size moon it will just mean you will be kiting the lunch or morning sessions rather than the late afternoon 7m sesh.

Was down at Exmouth/Coral Bay for a few days over easter.

beautiful!!!!

was nice boarding in clean clear water for a change.
Winds were a bit gusty for my (beginer) liking.. but still had one of the best sessions I've had to date!
