the good waves are all on the Western side (Kuta, Canggu) and the predominant wind direction at this time of year is SE, which means off-shore for those awesome wave spots.

As you can also see in the current forecast this is about as good as it gets. A good kite day in Bali is 12-15 knots, so just don't expect to get 20 knots + days....you can also get a whole week or two of max 10 knots winds...
In the pic below you see the small waves on the Sanur side (East side) which can be fun but with lots of exposed reef, otherwise nice flat water inside with On-Shore/Side-On-Shore conditions.
I traveled to Bali with kite gear twice in those months, and it was quite painful to carry the big light wind gear around everywhere, for just a few light wind sessions here and there...
