I know they restrict intermediate-advanced riders a bit but seat harnesses don't give you a sore lower back. The trade off if you get a big boost/loft is you may get an atomic wedgie!!

I am thinking about swapping to a waist to get more mobility in the waves, but because I sit in front of a puter all day, I fully expect to earn a sore back in the process.

Anybody got a best of both worlds suggestion??
What are the Dakine Fusion numbers like? Am I right that they can be adjusted to have the bar almost as high as a waisty? Does this significantly help in the surf?
