just got my new kite and wanted to fly it with an older slingy bar. Is there a possibility to trim the kite/bridle configuration. Especially for higher wind Situation where Maybe a smaller kite would be necessary. Except of Course the depowerrope from the bar. Thanks for all your help.
I realized, when trying out, that the backlines (or the Attachement rope) seam way too Long. Anybody else experienced this. I think I must shorten them at least for 3 Inches.
I think the Slingshot bars are set funny like this . I've adjusted a few Slingy riders bar that were using other brand bars on their SST's. But I had to extend the back lines. So yes if you are using a slingy bar with another brand kite you may have to shorten the back lines.
They should be fairly even when pulled in ( nearly all the way ). The simplest way is just make sure it doesn't back stall when you pull the bar in too much.
