The latest kitesurf 365 podcast with Ian Avera, the new COO for BAKL mentions new stops for BAKL.
They are going to Hood River this year for the first time, but he also alludes to Asia and Australia.
Pretty exciting to hear, there's a few spots that would work for a BAKL, wonder where they are looking at.

Realistically only WA has spots that offer anything reliable enough. But the trouble is it's far too remote and therefore won't attract enough pro riders to make it a big event on the international calendar.

Plus no one in australia knows how to kite for **** (apart from ewan and that carew fella i guess)
What we need is a kite tour asia sort of comp where we can atleast have a chance

Sri Lanka would definitely work. Close enough to Oz & Europe - far from the Americas though I guess.
