Thats not a bad idea. Kinda like Kramer's Book about Coffee tables that transformed into a coffee table. This kiteboard could be great for upwind and when you come in you can have a nice little picnic on it.

Seen an optomotrist lately dave?....The Undergrounds might be very nice boards, but do they have "A clear firm polycarbonate handle allows for easy handling of the kiteboard"? (which looks suspiciously like a length of clear PVC tubing) Hoping for a response to my question....

They are the graphics for the 08 Underground boards, but they are not the correct outlines for the boards.
I know because I have some and I was riding one last night for an hour, mmmmmm, nice.
There will be a demo 1.32 set up today, my own board is a 1.28 and Marine Sudre has a 1.28 she is taking to Tannum/Coconet on the weekend.

Man this post cracked me up... Tubzyubzy would seriously be so excited that all these people are watching his auction.

The width at the side and front rail is a little wider than most production boards but I designed it like that so if the wind dies down there is more planeing surface to keep you a float.

I haven't been in enough wind to get any serious air but it is lightweight compared to other boards and has great flex with stability.

Just as good! If only I could make 5 "just as good, lightweight compared to other boards, great flex with stability" kiteboards out of a sheet of plywood, some seatbelt webbing, a chopping board, a bit of PVC tubing and some tek screws!

Not very perceptive of me.... I bow to both your superior perceptiveness and eyesight.

That almost invisible "Handle" is a single core, dual thickness prototype, custom, ergonomically designed "RAD GRAB-TM",copyrighted. It also loves the chop when used as a hookah hose. The "RAD GRAB-TMpro" is also available which uses reinforced PVC tubing and is better for someone with my eyesight and has a textured grip provided by those white nylon threads.

Hey Echo, maybe you should actually buy the board - it's not that much money...it seems like it would have heaps of flex and you wouldn't break your leg again when you get back on the water.....

What the fk are those bindings from? They look like water ski straps crossed with wake bindings. Got to love the retro 80s styling

I can verify the quality of this piece of driftwood. I actually saw it in use last weekend on botany bay.

lol... man I miss these kind of threads. Did anyone actually click on to the part of the message to tubzywubzy that I am a beginner and need the board to practice back mobes. He hasn't responded yet, maybe he knows I am taking the piss.

He must be thinking that the ebay kiteboarding market is a goldmine after getting all these page visits lol. Maybe he will start a press for his custom prototype board?

OK, but I want to know is, who is going to fork out $25 just for the priviledge of meeting the guy, getting a photo with him and posting it on Seabreeze?

I'll tell you what, I'll be the financial backing for this ($25 = £11.50 = 30 min of work to me) I'll electronic transfer the money to the buyer's account on production of a photo of the seller, and a video of someone actually using the board to practice a back mobe... ;-)

Actually, that board reminds of something... the movie "Be Kind, Rewind"!!!!

Its a genuine board, it's a specially made, custom "Sweded" version! And Sweded versions are more expensive because they come from Sweden.

Anyone out there prepared to make a Sweded kite?
