For those of you that were so fabulous yesterday at Sheerwater Park on the Gold Coast - A very big thankyou. After a night in hospital I am home nursing my six broken ribs, broken toes and small internal bleeding. Nothing too major. I should be back on my kite in two weeks or so. If someone got it on camera - feel free to post my crash tackle with a tree! Not one of my best moments. haha

And just to clear up any confusion - I wasn't having a lesson - just a freak accident of which I came off second best to the tree! Thanks to those that packed up all my gear and left it in my car - all safe and sound and much appreciated.

See you all on the water soon.

Im glad to see your up and running, and yes it was a freak accident and it was scary. I dunt think any1 had it on cam, it wasnt something any1 expected. saw you getting dragged across the dunes as i was coming back to the point and next thing i knew you were heading for the tree with the kite looping. Hope you recover quickly and make it back on the water soon. . .

Glad you're OK, albeit a bit bashed up.

Let me know when you're up and about and we'll get the girls together for a drink or two.

Make sure those ribs and toes are fixed fully before you get back into the water and we will help you back into the sport when you're ready!

Big Hugs x
