came across 4 foot shark that was terrified
as I came close
shark terrified not me

Picked up a lemon shark the other day fishing from my kayak out at Cape K.
Thought it was a monster GT to begin with and it took me best part of an hour to drag his fat pasty arse to the surface, bastard was dragging me backwards and started to feel like he was gonna sink me at one point.
After all the old man an the sea rhetoric and heroic, guy smiley calmly pulled up along side and i was able to pull my barely new lure out from the inside of the corner of his mouth, I'd also foul hooked the poor bugger just under the eye.
Cant must've been the best part of ten foot long probably 150kegs.

I see bull sharks regularly in the Mandurah estuary up on the banks. Guess they're chasing the crabs or the rays. Surprising how many are there really. Normally they go the other way but on two occasions they've come at me and scared sh&t out of me. 4-5ft long is big enough to take a chunk out

^^^ Surprised the fisheries don't advertise this more as sure would make managing all those crabbers easier.

Apparently there have been 10 unprovoked attacks on humans by lemon sharks.

Imagine those poor bastards having to explain to people that they got attacked by the lamest sounding creature there is.
