I'm heading over to Aitutaki on the 21st of this month and was wondering if anyone who has been there had any travel tips or just any general advice for the place?

Can't wait to go it looks like a nice place

Dont take your kites, there wont be any wind!

Was there 6years ago so things mite of changed a bit. But any woo.
The locals prefer NZ$
You can get a cheep boat rides at the Harbour (any fool with a boat will give u a lift for the right $)
Rent a scooter for the whole of the time u r on d Island.

Dude, search the forums for "Aitutaki" plenty of people have been there... not sure on the wind this time of year, have a look on windguru for Aitutaki winds

take big, small kites and medium, a snorkel and goggles. it is on/off location - epic powered slick heaven sessions or snorkeling/ drinking beer.
