I have a 2012 north quad bar, but am looking at the new 2013 vegas, I know you need a fifth line to use it. Can they be added? Are there any ways around it without buying a new bar?

They do need the 5 line bar.

Changing the lines needed to make your quad bar work would not be financially feasible.

Easier to shop for a good second hand 5th element bar if you don't want to spend the extra on the new bar.

The new bar is nice though.
