Hi

I have 5/7/9 Enduro V2s and had a 12 V1. Want to replace it with an Edge as my biggest Kite for better upwind performance in low winds. Would you go with a 10 or 11? I have only 63kg and ride Twintip.

Cheers

I have 11m and 9m edge, hardly use the 9.....the 11 has me covered from 14 to 30 knts at 88 kegs, usually on a 136 tt....

It would be a great lw kite for ur weight....plenty of bottom end grunt!!

Grab a demo if u can and happy booooOoooosting

I would go 11, that's a 2m gap from your 9.

PS I have 10 edge 8 enduro and the 2m gap is pretty sweet.

11m
Like Plummet says 2m gaps are sweet and an 11M at your weight will be good from around 10-12 knots with a LW board for the lighter days and 18-20 would be your maximum.

The 10m edge will have a relative 2-3m gap over the 9m enduro surely.

You are saying the 10m Edge will have the Lowend of a 11-12m Enduro and the 11 Edge the Lowend of a 12-13m Enduro?

I'm 80kg, with a 10m Edge V10 as my biggest kite. With a 134cm twin tip, it covers 13-30knots comfortably.
At 63kg, I reckon you would be fine with a 10m Edge even in very light winds....

Well maybe not the new one as much but yeh... higher aspect, generates more apparent wind. You are a light fella, wouldn't take long (narrow wind range ) before you are over powered on an 11. Then again ask crew who actually ride one I suppose.

Will go for the V10 so probably the 11 is the right choice. Heard the topend of the V9 and V10 is better than on the previous versions.

You'll have to wait 2 years for the v11
