Always gotta be one safety police.... well thanks for the concern anyway. No broken limbs, not even close really. There wasn't really any power in the wind that day and I had to ride my switchy instead of my razor for the extra power. Unhooking on that thing just doesn't work in light winds.

As Glendog said, definately couldn't have done it unhooked on this particular day. It was way too close to shore and couldn't have been any other way due to the tides.

That was my first ever attempt at a rail but I didn't crash after that. That last crash I did was because I completely lost power and decided to bail and take it head on rather than not make the height.

I defs do wanna do it unhooked though, Just need a little more wind for my 11 razor.

Haha I've been riding rails for 9 years and have hit some mega dodgy setups ... I am surely not the safety police. The last clip of whoever going underneath it though looked like they really could have f***ed themselves. Unless you're doing a stall on a guard rail or hitting something that you have to literally send your kite to get on you should always be unhooked on a rail. We were hitting a rail in WA when we could hardly keep our kites in the sky.. it doesn't make a difference whether or not you're hooked in or unhooked power wise you just have to gain speed to ollie either way. I know it's all in good fun and I'm not s**tting on your good time but if you're worried about your kite my advice is 1. unhook and keep your kite higher so it doesn't hit trees or land on the beach 2. don't try to land blind off of it or pass on it

Anyways looks like a fun little rail. Look forward to seeing more from you boys! Hope to be up that way again sooner or later
