I have a V2 11m and 7m coming from BRM Clouds however, 99% windwing now.
I am 73kg and can do the basics ie jybe and switch feet.
I use 27m race lines which helps launching in very light wind from a few knots plus speeds up turning the kite due to far less drag helping the lines to be very straight.
The 11m with Duotone V2 750 glide goes from well under 10kn on lake water and the 7m from about 10kn.
Launching is easy however, care is required when landing as the kites just want to relaunch as the middle of the leading edge sits up off the ground.
Relaunching from the water is also easy with the right technique.

From what I have read the main difference to the V3 is the inclusion of a 10m.

There's a recent thread and others here: kiteforum.com/viewtopic.php?t=2420452

I had a 4m. It was best 15-20 kts if you want a surfy and maneuverable kite that gets out of your way, above 20ish it's only good for mowing the lawn because turning it starts to get too powered with too much bar pressure so you have to baby it too much. I didn't think the drift was any good, it's easy to outrun, it will front stall and then you have to foil back upwind to recover it, if you fail it'll invert into the lines, whereas a kite that drifts well like a dedicated wave kite will float backwards and remain controllable. Sold mine pretty quickly. Ozone Reo flies much better IMO. That said I'm also 99% winging / parawinging these days.

I'm 80kg and have a V3 7m that I can use from 15-22 knots ish then a 9m V2 that will take me sub 10 knots.
Relaunch isn't an issue unless is been rolled through in the waves.
They relaunch super easy, easier than you think, all you need to do is be a little patient until the canopy catches wind under the tips it fills the rest up and your good to go.
Is there much difference between a V2 & V3? Not a lot.
If can get a good V2 grab it.
They are a playful and surprisingly powerful kite.
Certainly other than a cloud they are the best free ride foil kite.

I had several Clouds and found the UFO had better wind range and relaunched better.

I've replaced my worn out 5m V1 with a V3. At 63 kegs it's my go to from 14 knots. Smooth loops. Light on the bar (I recommend race lines). Doesn't notice the gusts. Excellent relaunch. Such a fun kite. There is nothing like a UFO. I think the 5m is the pick of the litter.

I have a 7m as well which is heavier on the bar but will get me going from 8-10 knots. You can park it above your head with front and rear lines slack.
