Can anyone please tell me he area of Zeeko's Carver wing? I have one, but they have just announced a 950cm2 surf wing being available next month. I'm going to get one, but just wanted to envisage the difference. Can't find any reference on the 'Net, apart from the freeride wing being 530cm2. I had 640cm2 in my head for the Carver, Thanks.

The Carver is almost legendary and it's new big brother is going to also add service in Windfoil.
It was the Carver that Nicolas used in first testing of Windfoil.
We are getting some in the moment they are ready, but won't last long.

If you're not in a rush, I can bring you one back from France in September.

Mate, I'll be at my aunt's 100km east of Bordeaux at the start of July for a week. I've emailed Zeeko saying I'd like to get one. No answer so far. I leave June 21.

Cost is 470 euros so roughly AU $ 750. Are you still heading to europe next month? If so get it over there and claim the VAT back.

You'll need to check the compatibility of your mast and fuse with the new 950 wing. It's not compatible with the 2016 Zeeko Black and White set up but I think you have the newer Green and White fuse as well right?

So should fit Blue and White also as same as Green and White (different to white and blue and white and black early models.)

Stated price seems a bit high . . . given Mosses 633 front wing is $505 and $558 for the 683S.

Does the 950 front wing use the same stabiliser as the Carver 710?

I've sent an email to ask overnight. There is a bigger stabiliser for ?299. They say it's for faster turns. Likely to get wing first, then see if my pitiful surf skills warrant the extra readies on a bigger stabiliser.

There is a larger rear stabiliser but Zeeko tunes all wings to suit the std rear Stabiliser.
if you want to explore outside the bounds of that then the large rear is an option.
The early Blue&White has alloy wings and the rear mating notch was a sharp angle.
With Green&White this is rounded.
the larger 950 will put Too much load on the sharp notch when left as a void.
the 950 is also now High mod carbon cored.

Thanks! That mans my green and white fuse is OK for it, and I can leave the black and white fuse for the original black wing and Carver.

Jesus, that vid almost makes me want to take up windsurfing again! Loved seeing the duck gybes. The only gybes I ever see the local guys doing these days are lay down gybes and I rarely see them done successfully. The foil turns the windsurfer into a smooth and graceful craft that makes sense and will no doubt reignite interest in the sport and lift sales.

I think when you get that floating feeling as you roll into a gybe and gain the confidence to control and make full use of it, manipulating the rig gets simpler.

At least I hope it does. Or all the pain I'm going through getting there is to no avail.
