Hi there, I'll be getting this foil i think for prone and kiting. I've been trying to watch every vid i can to assess back foot position for my sticking on of a foil mount. The couple of vids of slingshot gear seem to chop and change gear/wave size/foil h2 and h4.

I'd ideally like to get my back foot just behind the mast for some torqued tight turns ?? Would there be too much lift for this ??

The slingshot gear is really solid and can take a pounding, a big plus. But it is heavy.

But the great thing about the design is you can swap front wings for different experiences. Much easier owning one mast/fuselage and multiple wings to suit the ride conditions.

hey bro. i have the RE furuta, its exactly the same at the h2. they are heavy but has a huge amount of lift, and super fun for slow foiling doing fun ****.

you cant brake it, tough as.

Have you seen the Houston kiteboarding ss wing discusdion on you tube? Not much about foot position or madt position but good insight into all the wings the H4 looks like a good surf option.

You can place your foot behind the mast without any dramas, you just need to adjust your centre of gravity with respect to the fulcrum that's buried half a metre under water.

It does allow you seriously sharpen your terms.

Yep, i,ve seen every video on the internet. I think it should be good for what i want to do as i'll add the h5 and a taller mast for kiting

I've ridden the large wide foils and felt like i was just along for the ride

I like the adjustability of the ss gear as every foil i've been on i've had to move more forward and if there is no more deck grip my stance becomes too narrow, not good for turns

The slingshot and naish gear are both plug and play. If you get a chance, try both of the brands.
