Trying to decide, merimbula for an awesome party,
or go for gold to get some last minute racing practice in?

keeping in mind go for gold is a weekend regatta and not so much of a party,

thoughts from all the racers out there??

Go for Gold There wouldnt be better training for Sail Melbourne that a regatta at pretty much the same location a week before hand. Also its meant to be a coaching regatta... hopefully there might even be a YA coach for kiteboarding by that time who might want to come watch...

Merimbula is the go you will get just as much practice there and use race and big kite before the prevailing wind picks up a minimum of 2hrs of light wind and you also get fed, party and prizes
